The Riches

 

 This image represents the Smith house. A beautiful, elegant, home, just as it is portrayed. 

 

This is Grace, she is in shock, she doesn't know how to react to the loss of her parents. She is sixteen, and will be all alone. Even with the comfort from the Bradly's she is scared, confused, and overall in a state of shock. 

Grace is mourning the loss of her parents they deserve to be together forever, and  this would be the phase in Grace's life when she would be trying to move on, and remember the good.

 

This bloody knife symbolizes the knife used to kill Mr. and Mrs. Smith. 

 

The Smith Range, just a way of recognizing how important this land was to the Smith family, and that it was something big, not only was it a home, but it was a family farm or ranch, and it turns out it was worth to much for it to only be sentimental.

 

The Sheriff badge represents the authority figure in "The Riches". He was the one who tried to figure out who killed the Smith's and why. 

 

This oil refinery represents what the killer wanted, and why. He was greedy, and willing to take lives because of his hostility towards such a compassionate family unit. 

 

This image is what the killer deserved. He deserved to be trapped behind bars alone in the dark, just as he left Grace. 

 

The cash shows what Tucker and Sally were willing to deny, and how much they loved, and respected their family's land. 

 

These two men talking is to show how Tucker and Mr. Bradly had a simple relationship. They didn't pry into each others business, instead were friends, and respected one another. 

Memoir photos

the artist/song who would most relate to my life would have to be slug. he has influenced my life in so many different ways. i enjoy every song that he has ever written, and when I'm having a bad day i get lost in his music. he widely relates to my memoir through his song the loser wins. not only did i use this as my title but it was my main inspiration for my memoir. if you ever listen to the song you will hear that it is about struggles with people in his life and how he has grown and learned from the situation, my memoir is exactly like this. i talk about my struggles with people in my life and things of that nature.



the movie that i chose which relates to my life is Casper. Casper has played a big part in my childhood i used to watch it all the time and it has been one of my favorite movies for as long as i can remember. i like that both Casper and Kat are both very different. they are not alike everyone else, i like the way that they find happiness in each other. all around its a really good movie.

i chose this photo because within this photo you can see many other smaller pictures that make up the whole photo. Like this image, in my life i have had a lot of small things i have been through in life that alter who i am today. i have made mistakes that i have grown from, they will always be with apart of who i am. the things you see in this true are not seen at first glance, but once you take the time to look you can see all the small things that make the photo. at first glance people may have their opinions about who i am and what I'm like but only the people who really take the time know who i really am today.

Music has always been a big part of my life. it has always been omthing i lean on in the bad and good times of my life. i hope to one day make a carreer out of music, because it has always been something i've loved. music has always been a release where no matter what is going on in my life i can get lost in a song and forget all about what is going on in my life.

this picture of an airplane represents my life because one of my biggest fears is going through my whole life and never seeing the world. i hope to see most everything out there before i die. in my future i would enjoy a carrer that let me travel around because im a person that goes crazy being in one place for too long.

I chose this picture of two paths because it represents the direction in my life. i have not yet decided exactly what i want to do with my life. i have many different paths and decisions to me and I'm not sure what i want to do. this path represents the indecisiveness in my future and the undecided part of me.

i chose this photo because i have been through things and made choices in life that not other people my age have. and the choices ive made and thigs that i have been through shape who i am today. we can only learn from the mistakes, and hope for better in the future. i try to live everyday to the fullest because lifes too short to waste on regret.

 My faith has always been a big part of my life. it helps me make decisions and always been threre when nothing else was. my faith has help shape the person that i am today and it will continue top shape me. i have always had my faith when i needed it the most and it will always been a big part of my life.

i chose this photo because i think it is a very powerful photo of a young girl, doing a very adult thing. i think this photo touches me because even though she is very beautiful and wearing a dress i can see the side of her that's pissed of and smoking. its a great contrast of elegance and emotion. i also think this photo has some very contradicting qualities about it.

I chose this video because i think that the stories of Wylenne,Jordan, Mary,Tara, and Denise are desprate to feel like they are worthy and that their life is meaningful and they dont.so many people in life feel this way and they feel that they are alone and lost.  i think that in life some struggles seem to be impossible and seem like they will never come out of and thats what he talks about with the stories. I like that he talks about how life can be beautiful when he says "there is life afer survival" that is a line that really struck me. Its such a beautiful way of saying things do get better and even if they seem never ending, and hard that one day your going to come out and survive, seeing life it a whole new light. i love buddy wakefeild style of poetry, i like all of the things he does but this is one of my favorite poems by him.

Is life a work of art?-Michel Foucault

"What strikes me is the fact that in our society, art has become something which is related only to objects and not to individuals, or to life. That art is something which is specialized or which is done by experts who are artists. But couldn't everyone's life become a work of art? Why should the lamp or the house be an art object but not our life?" -Michel Foucault 

I would agree with Michel Foucault. I think that it is true that every ones life is a work of art and it is concerning that something as simple as a lamp can be art, but something so beautiful as life isn't art. Its true when he says that art has become something which is related only to objects and not to individuals or to life. In today's society i think that people think that art is something that is only tangible. Whether your life is dark, happy,beautiful, or sad it is still artwork.  Even killers and evil people's life is art, it may be a bit darker and different but it is still art.The beauty in life is often only seen with death, only appreciated once is is no more. Through death comes known the beauty in life,  the art that was created in that particular life. It shows how truly beautiful life really is. What makes art beautiful is when it is different and unique, which is like peoples lives. Every person has lives that are unique and beautiful much like artwork. Every person is capable of art depending on that persons choice of expressing art. i believe that if everyone saw their lives as artwork then the world might be a little bit happier for everyone.

The River
